Our client is opening a state of the art Advanced Manufacturing Incubator to accelerate its global Industry 4.0 “ Smart Factory” initiative across the entire organization. The “ Manufactory,” a 23, 000-square foot facility, will serve as a hub for the latest advancements in IoT, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, 3-D printing, robotics and advanced materials. This team will set the overall vision and strategy for the company’ s Industry 4.0 initiative and supply the resources and expertise necessary to serve as the epicenter for the latest technologies and processes with respect to Industry 4.0.

IIOT MES Developer

Responsibilities:
  • The person will become the expert for the MES system in their area of responsibility along with ancillary data feeds to a manufacturing execution system and reporting systems.
  • When the person leads a project, he/she will be responsible for managing the activities required to meet the project’ s objectives within the constraints of an allowed budget and a desired timeline.

Required experience and skill include:
  • Bachelor’ s in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar field.
  • .NET (C#, VB.NET),  Java, Python, etc
  • Work effectively with a team that helps each other support all IT control systems in the plant and the related IT supporting systems.
  • Flexibility to occasionally support the plant during off-hours.
  • Communicate and team up with engineering and operations groups in the plant to accomplish plant goals.

Skills:
  • Working as part of a large matrix team
  • Agile method of development
  • .NET (C#, VB.NET),  Java, Python, etc
  • SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Access)
  • MSMQ, Biztalk

Plus Skills:
  • 3 – 5 years of development experience with any of the industry leading packages such as Flexnet, Camstar, Simantic IT, etc.
